iE was contracted to master plan and design four major zones for the rehabilitation of the Northern Belize Mexican border crossing including the engagement of the Tourism and Free zone areas between Mexico and Belize. By providing research and analysis and detailed stakeholder meetings, key traffic pattern studies and way finding, iE designed new concepts to integrate both security with visitor and tourism access. Through a 12BZ million dollar loan facility, iE will continue to administer the project until complete in 2011.
