Belize Tourism Board under the Sustainable Tourism Program has contracted iE to design a master plan for the rehabilitation of the Placencia point to introduce sustainable local tourism in that area. The project included a pier and the upgrading of the current sidewalk that now leads to two destinations for local development. iE has successfully completed with approval from all local stakeholders the design of this project that is scheduled for construction in 2011.
